In spring 2020 we refurbished the old pond installing a waterfall spilling over large granite boulders and added local stone to the edging.
A design & build a new wildlife pond to compliment the adjoining Japanese style garden
Dartmoor Pond Services were contracted to design & build a new wildlife pond to compliment the adjoining Japanese style garden at Lezant and revamp the existing tired pond.
The new 7m x 4m pond was constructed using Yennadon stone and lined with Firestone EPDM. We Joined the new and old ponds with a stream /cascade, installing a new pump and filtration unit to circulate water between both ponds.
Both ponds were planted utilising plants from the original pond and now it’s up to mother nature to complete the transformation.
